Pankaj Chaddah received a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 2007. A well-known face in the Indian start-up community, Pankaj is one of the founders of Zomato, the country’s largest restaurant discovery and food delivery service. He spent a decade with Zomato from its inception in 2008 till 2018, helping to establish it as one of India’s first internet unicorns, as well as a truly global giant in the food tech space. He stepped away from an operational role in Zomato in 2018 and retains a position on Zomato’s board of directors. Prior to Zomato, Pankaj worked at Bain & Company.
After moving on from Zomato, Mr. Chaddah has been angel investing and mentoring start-ups. He is one of the founding members of the Plaksha University in Chandigarh and is also an advisor to Akshaya Patra.
As the next step in his entrepreneurial journey, Mr. Chaddah has most recently co-founded Mindhouse, which is an online wellness venture. Within a year of launch, Mindhouse is already one of the most promising mental health and wellness start-ups in the country.
In honoring Mr. Pankaj Chaddah, IIT Delhi recognizes his Entrepreneurial excellence. Through his achievements, Mr. Chaddah has brought glory to the name of the Institute.
